The goal is to increase interest in gastronomy, raise morale and also establish Scandinavian cuisine as an all-around great place to be from both sides: those who are talented enough become chefs or restaurants owners but even more importantly it helps promote Swedish culture by showing what Sweden have cooked up!

But thanks in large part to a group called The Swedish Academy for Gastronomy, we can now add another reason why Sweden is know for its cuisine! This organization was founded by Tore Wretman with intentions on increasing interest rates among youth about careers working within the foodservice industry as well giving high honors across Scandinavia's culinary profession.
