This prestigious competition recognises the vital role that foodservice plays in conference venue operations. As a result, IACC stages a Annual Copper Skillet Global Chef of the Year Competition.

This competition is designed to highlight the artistry and skills of IACC-member conference venue chefs from around the world and to honour their contributions to our shared goal of providing an outstanding conference experience.

The IACC Global Copper Skillet Final

The IACC Global Copper Skillet was created to highlight the artistry and skills of IACC-member conference venue chefs from around the world and to honor their contributions to our shared goal of providing an outstanding conference experience. The competition has grown over the years and now attracts some of the best chefs from across the globe. Las Vegas is excited to host this year's event and we can't wait to see who takes home the prize! Chefs will first participate in their country competition and winners will then go straight to the Global Final . There are currently three chapters, Americas, Europe and Australia Asia Pacific

The competition

Junior and Senior Chefs will be required to create an entree using contents from a Mystery Basket. The dish must include two proteins plus items found in the attached pantry list, then they're expected at present it onto two identical plates - one for judging by independent panelists; another just viewing with audience members here tonight!
